An honest look at daily life, culture and tradition away from the busier tourist routes. You spend the afternoon with a local community — meeting people, seeing how the village works, and having the kind of unhurried exchange that a passing visit never allows.

A small gesture for the community. Anyone who would like to can bring used clothes, as long as they are in good condition, to give to the children during the visit.

If you have not brought clothes with you, you can also buy biscuits, maize or other small food items at a supermarket or a local shop. When we are with the community you can hand them out yourself, one child at a time, in a way that is unhurried and respectful.

Even a small gesture counts. The idea is to share what we have and support the community with what we can, so that the visit becomes a meeting rather than a viewing.
