You are back after sunset if you combine it with Marafa – Grand Canyon.
A day on the coast north of Malindi: the spice market and a woodcarving workshop, the golden beach at Che Shale among palms and dunes, and the boat to Robinson Island.

Departure from your resort
The day starts with the drive to the Malindi area. On the way we stop briefly at a woodcarving workshop and the spice market, before crossing the Sabaki River and the village of Mambrui.
Che Shale, the Golden Beach
We carry on to the beach at Che Shale, through country of coconut palms and towering sand dunes.
Also known as the Golden Beach, Che Shale is famous for the unusual golden colour of its sand, which makes for a remarkable landscape. There is time to walk on the dunes and enjoy the coast.

By boat to Robinson Island
We then reach the landing point and continue by boat to Robinson Island, arriving at around 12:30.
Once on the island, there is a short boat tour of about 30 minutes.

Seafood lunch
At 13:00 a seafood lunch is served: crab, prawns, fresh fish and coconut rice. Drinks are not included.
- 15:00
Back to the mainland
At 15:00 we take the boat back to the mainland, where our vehicle is waiting to take you back to your resort.
If you choose the combined package, the day carries straight on to Marafa – Grand Canyon, and you are back after sunset.
